A relatively flat course that is located near the sea. While the ocean
is only partially visible from the second hole and new buildings surround
the course, the scenery of these building blends quite well with the modern
look of the course. The biggest feature of the course is the multiple
water hazards that come into play throughout. The course makes good use
of the hazards as they balance out the eight large and small ponds. Of
the four par 3s, three of them are over a lake. The club uses the bent
grasses from the tees all the way to the greens, and the maintenance of
the grasses is quite spectacular. While there are no week holes, it is
also balanced out with short and long par 3s and par 4s. All par 5s are
risk/reward holes.
At the time of the course’s opening in 2010, the greens
had more severe undulations. However, just before the hosting of the first
Presidential Cup in Asia in 2015, the slopes of each green were revised
to become more gradual, allowing more pinnable areas. All green complex
is quite nice. Holes 13, 14, 15 combines for an excellent stretch. In
2018, The UL International Crown (Women's team pro tournament) was held
for the first time outside the United States at this course.

A par four with a slight dogleg to the right with the ocean on the right.
Players should be careful of two bunkers to the right off the tee. The undulating
green is wide, elevated, and protected by bunkers to the left and the front. |
|
|
A short par four with a dogleg to the left with
a lake facing the left sides of the fairway and the green. The green is
also guarded by a bunker to the front left and a waterfall to the rear left.

A straight and long par four. On the tee shot,
trees and bushes flank the undulating fairway. The green is elevated and
guarded by deep bunkers on both sides. |

|
|
A par five with a dogleg to the left. There are
two bunkers that come into play off the tee. Starting from the second point,
the hole becomes relatively straight. On the second, a lake approaches from
the left and two bunkers appear on the right side of the tight fairway.
The left side of the green faces a pond and the front of the green is guarded
by a bunker, not to mention the rear side borders a rough mound. |
|
|
|
|
An uphill and long par three. The green is diagonal with a large bunker
on the right and a small bunker at the back. Players should avoid the bunker
on the right by aiming directly at the left side of the green. |
|
|
A difficult par four with a dogleg to the left.
There is a cross bunker in the middle of the fairway sloping from right
to left. The green is elevated, and a lake faces the front and left sides.
A beautiful stone wall sits on the edge of the green. |
|
|
|
|
A par four with a dogleg to the left. The tee shot is semi-blind and 3 fairway
bunkers and a lake on the right come into play. With the slightly downhill
approach shot, players will encounter a strongly elevated and two-tiered
green. |
|
|
A right dogleg to the right. The tee shot is over a lake that borders the
left side of the narrow fairway. When players hit to right side to avoid
the water, 2 bunkers await. The undulation green is guarded by a bunker
to the left and the right sides, as well as a deep rough to the right side.
|
|
|
A dogleg to the right. The fairway is narrow with a lake facing on the left
and two bunkers on the left, so the accurate tee shot is required. The green
has complicated undulations, and is protected by bunkers on both sides,
as well as a deep rough to its right and front right. |
|
|
A signature hole and relatively short par four with a dogleg to the left.
The fairway is divided into two by a creek. The fairway on the left side
is much narrower and requires a carry of 240 yards in order to cross over
a lake. If successful, the rest of the hole becomes a straight and easy
up & down for a birdie. White the tee shot is demanding; the second
becomes quite easy. Hitting towards the fairway on the right side is a safer
route as the fairway is wider. However, the pin is placed in the front,
this route becomes much tougher, since the front of the green faces a creek.
it is safer to aim towards the back left of the green, but there will few
birdies from there, which means that while the tee shot is easy, but the
second will become very difficult depending on the pin position. An excellent
“risk and reward” hole. |
|
|
An almost straight, difficult, and beautiful
par five. On the tee shot, players can encounter a lake on the left side
and a bunker on the right. The second shot needs to be accurate asn the
landing area is tight with the lake on the left. The green is swung to the
left and the approach shot is over the lake and two greenside bunkers. The
green is elevated with the additional bunker to its front right. There is
a mound in the middle on the green which will make putting quite difficult. |
|
|
|
|
A par three over a lake. The elevated green is guarded by bunkers on both
sides and a deep rough and a lake to the right. The green slops from back
to front. |
|
|
A great par five with a dogleg to the right.
The tee shot is over a lake that also comes into play to the right. The
fairway is tight on both the tee and second shots. There are well placed
bunkers on both sides of, and the water hazard to the to the right side
of the undulating green that is strongly elevated. |
