Macau’s Seasers Golf Club is built on a flat filled ground right beside
the ocean. 12 out of the 18 holes will require players to play over and
around a series of lakes, showcasing the strategic difficulty of the course
as a whole. The second half of the course is a lot more difficult than
the first half. Players can enjoy the view of several famous casino hotels
around the golf course. During my play in 2007, the Venetian hotel was
highly visible and stood out amongst the surrounding environment. However,
over the past 7 years, more and more skyscrapers were built around the
course, and the course is now surrounded by newer buildings, making the
surrounding scene much more glamorous and aesthetically beautiful. The
original length of the Seasers Golf Club Macau course is 7183 yards. However,
if players play from the blue tees, the play becomes 600 yards shorter.
SGC Macau is a links-style course.

The first hole is a par 4 with a dogleg left. The green is almost completely
surrounded by a lake, therefore accuracy important in order to score well.
|
|
|
This par 4 is a straight hole with a lake sitting on the left
hand side. The lake, along with several bunkers, surrounds the green on
its left, right and backsides. There is a mound placed in the center of
the green, making putting difficult for players. |

|
This 4th hole is a 583-yard par 5. There is a long body of
water that runs from the left side of the tee box all the way towards the
end of the green. A lake comes into play right by the run-up area in front
of the long and thin green, making the fairway narrower. Players can enjoy
another fantastic view of the casino hotels in Macau from this hole. |

IThis hole consists of a sharp dogleg that bends to the left. There is a
hidden lake that awaits the misfortune of many players. Players should be
aware that any shot between 220 to 250 yards from the tee shot would ensure
the balls disappearance into the lake. Players can still make birdie if
they play safe and aim towards the right side of the fairway. |
|
|
The 12th hole is a challenging par 3 that requires players to overcome a
dangerous water hazard. This par 3 is quite challenging due to the fact
that it is a long hole and there is a guard bunker that comes into play
near the green. |
|
|
With a slight dogleg to the left, this short par 5 has a body
of water that runs along the entire left side starting from the tee box,
all the way to the green. |

Golf Club (China).
