The front 9 holes are very short and easy, thus they are not impressive
while the back 9 holes are much longer and challenging, so it is fun to
play. There are 36 holes, this South Course and the reputable North
Course that is one of the best courses in Asia, and both are public
courses. The South course, although it provides good scenery, is an ordinary
course having an easy layout for beginners. I guess that Gary Player designed
one course for experienced players and the other for beginners. It is rare
to have a great deal of difference regarding the evaluations although the
same designer developed both courses in the same terrain. |

A downhill par 3 over a ravine. The
view of the green and its surrounding area is excellent. |

A downhill long and straight hole. Bushes on both sides of the fairway come
into play off the tee. You need to hit an accurate second shot as the green
is protected by hazards. |

A signature hole. The front side
of the green borders a lake, so you need a precise carry of 190 yards. The
green is wide and not deep. When the pin position is on the right and you
hit onto the right of the green, the approach shot becomes very demanding
as the green slopes steeply from the right to the left. This great hole
is beautiful as well as challenging. |
