A view from the clubhouse
This is a 36-hole golf club with this woodland Ian Baker Course and a seaview Jack Nicklaus Course. Carefully carved out of a genuine rainforest, the course becomes more interesting the further you get away from the clubhouse and into the forest. The natural woods come into play on almost every hole and there are adequate ups & downs, so it seems that the course is suitable for medium to advanced players. All courses in Bintan except for this course utilize the ocean, but it is also a great forest course without the sea.
 
3rd　Par 4　417 yards
An almost straight hole with a narrow, undulated fairway and natural forest on the right of the hole. The second shot is uphill.

A slight dogleg to the left par 5 reachable in 2 . The tee shot is up a gentle hill and the second is slightly downhill. The fairway slopes sharply from the left to the right, so it is difficult to hit from side-hill lies, and the green is guarded by bunkers.

A par 5 that is also reachable in 2 for a long hitter with a good drive. In order to hit the green in 2, the pond in front of the green must be cleared, so a long and accurate second is required.
 
9th　Par 4　406 yards
A slightly uphill par 4 with a pond on the right of the hole. The second shot needs to be over the pond, and a bunker in front of the green is well positioned. The green is gently undulating, and it is fun to put out.

A challenging par 3 with the water facing the front and left sides of the green.

A dogleg to the right par 5, demanding a precise downhill tee shot. The relatively wide fairway, at the landing area, is bisected by a creek that is guarded by 3 bunkers some 20 meters (60 ft.) shy of the water hazard. The second shot could easily be from one of these three bunkers.

A ferry to go to Bintan Island

It takes 50 minutes from Singapore to Bintan by ferry. The club has a hotel next to the course, and the clubhouse is the one of best in the region.
