It is hard to evaluate the course. Some holes
have interesting layouts with the good views of spectacular Mt Rinjani and the
coconut trees but a big number of others are simple. It is a very long but not
difficult course because the balls roll a lot with the help of the solid ground
and because there are very few hazards around the greens. Beginners might like
the course but the intermediate and advanced players will not since the maintenance
of the course is poor and it is not that challenging. Also, each green is huge
like 30 or 40 yards in width and depth and has a little undulation, which makes
the course easier to play. However, at least the greens lifted and make approach
shots harder when you hit off the greens. Maybe the golf club does not enough
money to spend on the maintenance because there are few players and visitors,
which makes the further deterioration of the course likely. But it is not that
bad so if there were small improvements, the course would have a different evaluation.

| Thanks to the generous fairway, there
is little pressure for the tee shot. There is a pond around 100 yards in front
of the green, so the landing area is very tight for the second shot. But it is
easy for a long-hitter since the second shot can go over the hazard. It is beautiful
hole and fun to play. | |

tee shot, which are positioned to surround the fairway. The tee-shot is difficult
at this hole, too, but relatively easy at and after the second shot. |

| 25 minutes from the Lombok Airport. Lombok Island
and Bali Island is only 25 minutes by air. The course is located 500 meters above
sea level in the Mt Rinjani foothills and it is relatively cool. Mt Rinjani is
about 3700 meters in height and looks splendid. |
