The Nidom is made of up 2 courses totaling 45 holes: The Ikoro Course (27 holes) and The Nispa Course (18 holes). Both are forest courses utilizing the natural undulations with 25 meters of difference of elevation. Needless to say accurate shots are required at the Nidom because thick trees line the relatively tight fairways. The Nispa is more challenging with narrower fairways and a better layout than the Ikoro.

1st Par 5 561 yards
A dogleg to the left, a slight uphill great par 5. Big trees stand on both sides of the fairway and just behind the green. There is a sharp slope on the left. The green is a little elevated and guarded by bunkers and trees.

A par 3 with a wide green. A slope in front of the green and deep bunkers in front right of it require a full carry to the green.

A double dogleg and a par 5 with OB on both sides.

7th Par 4 400 yards (1)
A sharp dogleg to the left. A large bunker is placed in the middle of the fairway 260 yards off the tee. A bunker guarding the front of the green is in play, too.

10th Par 4 402 yards
A dogleg to the right with a downhill tee shot. A large tree is positioned 250 yards off the green, a creek runs 20 yards right of the tree, and bunkers also placed on the left 270 yards off the tee, so an accurate tee shot is a must on this hole. The green is wide with moderate undulations.

14th Par 4 421 yards
A slight dogleg to the left, a challenging par 4. A deep bunker protects the green in the front. The green is elevated and beautiful.

A slight dogleg to the left, a downhill par 5. The closer to the green, the narrower it becomes, so the second & third shots must be precise.

It is a 20-minute drive from Shin Chitose Airport. Cottages adjacent to the course are available. Visitors can play. I played both courses, the Ikoro and the Nispa, in one day. The Ikoro Course hoisted “JPGA Mach-Play Tournament” from 2001 to 2003.

The other Nao Sugaya designed courses are Mitusi Kanko Tomakamai GC and Sapporo Kokusai CC.
