The course is laid out over undulating land in a gently sloping valley
surrounded by dense woods. With natural hazards, such as trees, ponds,
and lakes, flanking many of the fast greens, the course offer spectacular,
yet often difficult, holes in a truly environmentally friendly setting.
Overall, it is a challenging layout with a good distance of 7200 yards,
which attracts advanced players a lot. The greens are Kourai grass that
is peculiar in Japan and rare in Thailand. They are much faster and bigger
than the Kourai greens often seen in Japan. The very fast greens are a
real test of your putting skills.

A par 3 with a big undulating green. There is a pond on the right side of
the green, so left to right hitters need to be careful. |

    | A par 5 that requires you to hit over a big tree positioned
at the center of the fairway. A long hitter can hit the green in 2 but needs
to have a very accurate fairway wood shot; otherwise, it would end up with
a very bad score. There is water hazard in front of the green with bunkers
guarding both sides of it. The green slants a lot from back to front, so
you had better avoid hitting over the flag. |

A challenging par 4. The fairway is tight for the tee shot and a fairway
bunker on the right is in play. The second shot becomes uphill by 10 meters
(33 ft.) and a big and deep bunker guards the front of the green, so it
can be played aggressively to clear the front bunker. The green is fast
and undulating. If you hit over the green on the second shot, you will have
a very tough approach shot. |

    | A par 5 with a narrow fairway and an OB on the left. On the
second shot, a pond covers half of the fairway, so it requires an accurate
shot. The green is elevated and chipping from off the green is difficult.

A very neat par 3 over a lake. It is also a strategic hole with a water
hazard in front of the green, bunkers on the right, and bushes on the left.
You can imagine you are in the jungle. |

    | A par 4 with an OB on the left and a pond on the right. The
fairway is relatively tight. The second shot is over the water. It has a
beautiful contrast between the elevated green and the pond in front of it.

    | A dogleg to the right. The second shot is over the trees on
the trees guarding the right corner. There is a pond to negotiate with in
front of the green. The green and its surroundings are beautiful on this
      hole, too. |

The finishing hole with well positioned fairway and green side bunkers.
The green slopes sharply from back to front. When you have a downhill putt,
it can be extremely difficult to judge the speed. |

It takes 50 minutes from Pattaya by car. The lodges are available and
enjoy “stay and golf”. The caddies are rated as “ stars” like the hotels,
which are put on their clothes as badges. 4 stars are the best and 3 caddies
seem to have 4 stars, but you seldom see them.
