The course is laid out on a flat terrain. Each fairway is lined with
large palms and water comes into play on most holes. Some of the fairways
are built in 2 levels. Although you feel uneasy with the fairway conditions,
the course offers excellent views with many charming holes. While there
are many strategic holes, the length of par 3s and par 4 s lacks variety;
3 out of 4 Par 3s are 180s yards and many par 4s are in early 400 yards
with the shortest 396 yards, which result in using the same club many
times on both tee and approach shots. With more variety of the length,
the course should be more fun to play.

An almost straight, long par 5. The tee shot is over a lake and the lake
runs along the left side. On the second shot、 you hit onto 1 of 2 split
fairway. The green is slightly elevated and guarded by bunkers on both sides.

A slight dogleg to the right. There is a lake on the right off the tee
and the second shot is over the lake. A long bunker protecting the front
side of the green and 2 bunkers at the back are in play.

The most beautiful, straight par 4. All 3 areas, the tee ground, the fairway
and the green, are islands surrounded by water. Try to drive straight for
good distance so as to allow your second shot to go over the water hazard.
The tee and second shots require distance as well as accuracy. |

A par3 with pretty series of palms behind the green. The green is wide and
not deep, so the right club selection is crucial on this hole.

|
A dogleg to the left, long par 4 with a small pond on the left corner.
Good shots on both the tee and second shots are required in order to hit
the green on regulation.

A slight dogleg to the left with water on the left. This also
is a beautiful hole. |

A slight dogleg to the left, relatively long par 4. The fairway is narrow
with water on the left. The green is little elevated. |

It is a 20 minutes drive from Chiang Mai and a 30 minutes drive from
Chiang Mai Airport. I could choose freely the tees to play from. Due to
the poor drainage system, the course was wet, although I play on a sunny
day, and consequently I felt the course was 7400 yards, which is in fact
200 yards longer, because of shorter runs on the tee shots.
