Treasure Hill Golf & Country Club
|
Nestled in a valley and surrounded by jungle-clad hills, this course is extremely challenging, with dramatic, sloping fairways and greens. Even the most experienced golfer will find it difficult to control shots on this course, making for a rather enjoyable round of golf. Long hitters will be satisfied with the total yardage of over 7200.

A dogleg to the left, long par 5. It is designed as the poorer drive you hit, the narrower landing place it becomes, so you need to hit long and accurately.
| |
The fairway is tight, and furthermore water hazards on both sides guard the fairway.
| |
A reverse ‘S” shaped Par 5. Water comes into play at each shot.
| |
A long par 5, a dogleg to the right. The landing areas of the fairway are narrow for each shot, so accuracy is a must. The drive needs to be especially precise since there is OB on the right and a pond on the left. Both sides of the deep green are guarded by bunkers.
| |
An almost 90 degree dogleg to the left. A long hitter can reach the green in 2 but risks ending up with worth than bogey if caught by the hazards around the green. Your second shot over the valley must therefore be very accurate. This beautiful hole is impressive.

It takes 1 hour from Pattaya by car. It is located relatively far from Pattaya, so it is easy to book on Saturdays and Sundays. Noble Place GR&CC, and Chonburi Century CC are located nearby. The food of the Thai restaurant has good reputation. Although I played on Sunday, the total fees including the caddie were just around US$ 23. You can’t complain about poor course maintenance with this price. Other Yoshikazu Koto designed courses are Blue Canyon CC – Lake Course and Canyon Course that is one of the most reputable courses in Asia. |
