The Waterside Course at Siam Country Club has been built surrounding
4 ponds. On the 12th hole, the water hazard comes into play. The old and
the plantation courses at Siam CC have ups and downs but this waterside
course is quite flat. As the greens are large, GIR is relatively easy.
This means the putting influences your score strongly. The greens that
guarded with a pond and bunkers make the course strategic, but if the
distance of the hole is not too long, it is not so difficult.

It is a slight uphill par 4. It is a raised green guarded with very deep
bunkers on the front and on the left. |
It is a slight dogleg left par 5. A tight tee shot with a river on the
left and two bunkers on the right. This river separates the fairway and
merges into the pond. Then the second shot needs to go over this river.
You must be aware with the water hazard from the right. The green sharply
tilts down to the right, and the right of the green faces water, and the
left is guarded with two bunkers.

The tee shot goes over the beautiful pond. It is a two tier green with bunkers
in front and both sides. |
It is a relatively straight par 5. Both the tee and the second shots
slope left toward a bunker, and a pond on the right, so the landing area
is limited. The green is on the right at the end of the fairway, and the
water hazard is in front.

It is a sharp dogleg right par 4. The drive and the second shot need to
go over the water hazard. Avoid two bunkers in front of the green. |
It is a long dogleg right hole. The 50-yard length fairway bunker on
the right will come into play for your tee shot. There are 3 bunkers in
front of the green. The oval shaped green with a ridge in the center slopes
downward both front and back.
A par 3 to hit over the pond. This water hazard runs till the left of the
green. Two bunkers on the right guard the green. |
It is a tough dogleg left hole. The tee shot hits to the fairway, which
is relatively straight with the water hazard on the left. The second shot
needs to carry water hazard and the green faces this water hazard in front.
There is also a pot bunker in front of the green.
It is a long dogleg left hole. The tee shot needs to carry water hazard,
and needs to hit 260 yards to go over the left fairway bunker. For your
second shot, avoid the pond on the left. The oval shaped green faces the
pond on the left, and is guarded with bunker in the front and the back.
As the green slopes downward to the water, if your approach shot draws,
it could roll down to it.
